We offer a wide range of services, including metal heat treating, abrasive blasting, and industrial spray painting. Our expertise extends to processing small parts weighing 50 pounds and up, as well as large, heavy industrial size parts from 1,000 to 100,000 pounds plus. We specialize in working with carbon and stainless steels, other alloys, iron & steel castings, forgings, weldments, pressure vessels, boiler shells, tanks, power piping, and many other industrial and heavy equipment components.
Heat Treating
Heat treating is a process that involves changing the physical properties of a material by applying controlled heat and cooling. At Derrick Company, we use this process to anneal, quench, and stress relieve metals to achieve the desired properties. Our services include stress relief, annealing, normalization, precipitation hardening, forced air/water/glycol quenching, and more. We process a wide range of materials, including weldments, castings, forgings, fabrications, pressure vessels, and boiler shells.
Aluminum Heat Treating
We are proud to offer aluminum heat treating services, which involve annealing, stress relieving, and aging of aluminum alloys. This process helps to improve the properties of aluminum, making it stronger, more durable, and resistant to corrosion.
Blasting
Our blasting facilities are equipped to process large parts up to 50 tons in our car bottom air blast rooms and large lots of smaller parts in our wheel blast machines. Our experienced team ensures that each part is carefully cleaned and prepared for painting or other coating processes.
Industrial Painting
Our unique paint facilities enable us to apply simple shop primer or complex, multi-coat paint systems to very large and unique-shaped industrial parts, as well as medium and small components. Our experienced painters can handle even the most challenging painting projects, ensuring a high-quality finish and quick turnaround.
