Our company was founded by Tom Wright, a Master Painter with over 30 years of experience in the trade. Our Story

Growing up in the outskirts of Traverse City, Tom Wright's fascination with painting began in 1982 when he started working alongside his father. Tom's extensive experience in the painting industry, including 20 years spent with Jack Kraus Painting, has equipped him with the expertise to tackle even the most complex projects. After working with Jim Concannon, Tom decided to pursue his dream of building his own company, Wright Custom Coatings & Finishes.
