Our Story

At Walgamuth Painting, we are a family-owned business that has been serving the North State for over 40 years. Our history dates back to the late 1800s, when Walter John Walgamuth started painting projects in North Dakota. Over the years, our company has grown and expanded, with the fifth generation of painting contractors carrying on the tradition of quality painting service. Our mission is to provide the most experienced personnel, quality products, efficient methods of application, and strong management necessary to meet the project schedule and design requirements.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services to meet the diverse needs of our clients. These services include commercial, industrial, and residential painting, as well as cabinet painting and refinishing, floor coatings, and faux finishing. We have extensive experience in painting various projects, including medical facilities, schools, museums, government offices, water tanks, oil tanks, and various industrial projects. Our team is dedicated to providing quality workmanship, performed as scheduled, in a timely, safe, and efficient manner with minimal disruption.

Our Team

Our team is led by brother and sister, Donn Walgamuth and Michelle Wecker. Donn is our vice president and operations manager, while Michelle is the office manager. We have four senior foremen who have each been part of our team for an average of 18+ years. Our team currently consists of twelve full-time and one part-time employee in the field, with the majority having worked for us faithfully for many years.

Our Equipment

We own and operate all the necessary equipment for painting and decorating operations. This includes trucks, vans, lift equipment, spray equipment, hand tools, respirators, and safety equipment. We also own four boom lifts and two scissors lifts, which enables us to complete large projects in a consistent, timely, and efficient manner without compromising quality or safety.
