Our History

Smith & Sons Painting was established in 1990 by Tim Smith in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley of Alaska. With nearly ten years of experience in the painting industry, Tim started the business after having his third son. Joseph, Casey, and Cole entered the business as soon as they were old enough to pick up a brush and go to work. The business experienced great success with the three boys working in the business every summer through their youth. Now, the second generation has joined the business; Casey became a partner in 2015 and Cole became a partner in 2022. With a great deal of experience and knowledge of the painting industry, the future for Smith & Sons Painting is looking bright.
