Our Story

Mark Durling, the owner and operator, started his career in painting at the age of 16. After serving four years in the Marine Corps, Mark formed Mark's Painting, Inc. in 1990. With a passion for giving back to the community, Mark donates his time and services to Habitat for Humanity.

Nikki Durling-Abernathy, our consultant and office manager, brings a unique blend of art, design, and historic preservation expertise to our team. With a Master's degree in Historic Preservation and a background in art and design, she provides expert color consultations and client meetings. Nikki is also working towards becoming LEED Certified and to have Mark's Painting become both a LEED Green Associate and EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm.
